Impressions from the project process
One of the two production lines with the formwork assemblies reaching a total weight of 1,150 t. Here the internal formwork has been retracted into the reinforcement cage.
Tunnel elements being sealed off with bulkheads before the dry dock is flooded.
The two 176 m long and 57,000 t tunnel sections swimming in the flooded dry docks, ready to be towed out.

The Øresund Tunnel is the largest monolithically constructed tunnel in the world. During the realisation of this project, PERI has fulfilled our expectations. Even the tight schedule wasn´t a problem, neither was compliance with the strict dimensional tolerances during the construction. PERI has undoubtedly kept its promises with regard to performance and technical knowledge.
