Impressions from the project process
Massive, 28 cm thick reinforced concrete balconies cantilever outwards for 3.35 m in an irregular fashion on all four sides of the building.
The two residential towers of the "Il Bosco Verticale" are part of the ecological high-rise concept designed by the Italian architect Stefano Boeri.
An RCS protection panel completely enclosed the top two floors under construction – this increased the level of safety and accelerated operational procedures.
PERI´s Italian engineers combined rentable construction kit systems to create a project-specific customized formwork and scaffolding solution.
Cantilevered beams consisting of rentable PERI VARIOKIT system components carried the fresh concrete loads from the balconies.
Apart from a wide range of shrubs and flowers, both towers of the Bosco Verticale are also home to 900 trees.

For this unique project we developed a powerful solution in collaboration with the PERI engineers. PERI also helped us to organise and implement safety training. This contributed to increased productivity and a higher level of safety for the construction site team.
